Bath -- Lord Bath's Home-grounds -- Visit with Ginette & Co.

Another train trip to Bath Spa. Ginette and her family took us for a picnic at Lord Bath's home Longleat. We toured the home -- 1/3 is open to tour, 1/3 he lives in and 1/3 is libraries and offices. He seems like an odd duck to say the least. He has one wife and then as they put it '80 wifelets' that he keeps in homes on or about his estate -- he is 79!

Another interesting fact about Lord Bath was that his estate still has people that live and farm on his land and then pay him a portion -- I thought that practice was a thing of the past.

We ate at 'The George' again and it was lovely, very very old and good local food.
