We took the train up to Bath Spa and met Ginette, Tony & Alice. We took a beautiful drive to Lacock Village; we had cream tea, and went into the house and abbey. In the abbey is where they filmed some scenes from two of the Harry Potter movies -- VERY COOL.
We took a bus tour around the beautiful town of Bath and I toured the Roman Bath area with Ginette. On our tour they showed us the town house on Royal Cresent that Nicolas Cage just purchased. All of Baths buildings are made from stone from the same quarry; they keep it this way help maintain their international historic town status -- the only town with this status in the entire country.
We had a lovely dinner with Ginette, Tony and Alice at a wonderful old tavern -- The George. We are looking forward to visiting with Ginette and company again this coming weekend. There is hope that they will visit us in Utah next July.
